We are currently seeking a motivated Commis in Tbilisi who will support the kitchen team in daily operations, ensuring high culinary standards, consistent food quality, and an excellent guest experience.
Key responsibilities of the Commis include, but are not limited to:
** Assist in the preparation and cooking of menu items in accordance with standard recipes and instructions;
** Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation to meet established standards;
** Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of all work areas and equipment;
** Follow all kitchen procedures, recipes, and food safety guidelines;
** Support the kitchen team in ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations;
** Adhere to presentation standards set by senior chefs;
** Assist in handling guest requests, including special dietary needs, where possible;
** Work collaboratively with team members and other departments;
** Use kitchen equipment responsibly and report any issues;
** Participate in training sessions and team briefings as required;
Qualifications:
** Previous experience in a similar role or basic kitchen experience is preferred;
** Culinary education or training;
** Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations;
** Understanding of hygiene and food safety standards;
** Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
** Strong teamwork and communication skills;
** Positive attitude and willingness to learn;
